Terms & Conditions — Jshotthat Photography

1. Booking & Deposit
All sessions must be secured with a 25% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. This deposit confirms your session date and time and is applied toward your total balance. The remaining balance is due in full at the end of the shoot. Failure to pay the remaining balance may result in the withholding of your gallery until payment is received.
2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your scheduled session will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. Cancellations for studio sessions made under 2 weeks may result in the forfeiture of your deposit. Rescheduling requests made at least 48 hours in advance will be honored at no additional charge, subject to availability. Jshotthat reserves the right to reschedule any session due to severe weather, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, and a new date will be offered at no penalty to the client.
3. Lateness & No-Shows
Clients are expected to arrive on time. A 15-minute grace period is provided; however, time lost due to tardiness will not be added to the session. Arrivals beyond the grace period may incur a late fee of $20 per additional 15 minutes, at the photographer's discretion. No-shows without prior notice will result in full forfeiture of the deposit and may require a new deposit to rebook.
4. Image Delivery
Edited images will be delivered via an online gallery link within 7–10 business days following the session. Rush delivery may be available upon request for an additional fee. The number of images delivered will vary based on the package selected and the photographer's discretion. Raw, unedited files are not included and are not available for release.
5. Image Selection & Editing
Jshotthat retains full creative discretion over the selection and editing of final images. Requests for specific editing styles should be communicated before the session. Excessive re-editing requests beyond what is included in your package may be subject to additional fees. No editing by the client is allowed once the final gallery has been delivered.
6. Copyright & Usage Rights
All images captured by Jshotthat remain the intellectual property of Jshotthat Photography. Upon delivery of the final gallery, clients are granted a personal, non-commercial license to use, print, and share the images for personal purposes. Images may not be sold, altered, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent. Jshotthat reserves the right to use any images for portfolio, website, and social media purposes unless a written privacy agreement is made prior to the session.
7. Model Release
By booking a session, the client grants Jshotthat permission to use the photographs for promotional and marketing purposes, including but not limited to social media, website galleries, and print advertising. If you wish to opt out of this usage, you must notify Jshotthat in writing before your session. Opting out does not affect the pricing or quality of your session.
8. Liability
Jshotthat is not responsible for any injuries, accidents, or property damage that occur during a session. Clients participate at their own risk, particularly during outdoor, lifestyle, or location-based shoots. In the unlikely event of equipment failure, file corruption, or other technical issues resulting in the loss of images, Jshotthat's liability shall be limited to a refund of the session fee paid. Jshotthat is not liable for losses beyond this amount.
9. Location & Permits
It is the client's responsibility to ensure that the chosen location permits photography and that any required permits are obtained prior to the session. Jshotthat is not responsible for sessions that are interrupted or terminated due to location restrictions or permit issues.
10. Conduct & Right to Refuse
Jshotthat reserves the right to terminate any session immediately in the event of threatening, abusive, or inappropriate behavior toward the photographer or any other party present. In such cases, no refund will be issued. Jshotthat also reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time.
11. Agreement
By submitting a deposit or payment to Jshotthat, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Jshotthat Photography.
